Hooray for the right pen! Fountain pens are the best. When I was in London, I went to L. Cornelissen & Son in Bloomsbury and bought German oak-gall ink in two colours, but I’ve yet to try it out. I use Noodler's Gruene Cactus, the dude's crazy but I love his colours. You can't get Noodler's anywhere in NZ any more, but I have a bottle and a bit left. https://www.cornelissen.com/

Loved automania 2000 and I think some of those 1900 cards are pretty accurate! Lots of automation anyway - just not so many wings.

Aw shit I am wanting to buy a wren pen and now I am going to have to. This is your fault. I am left handed but I cannot member ever smudging my writing? I’ve always used a fountain pen (especially in a flex nib) due to being extremely extra.

Hey come on champignons, don’t make me the bad guy here. Direct your ire towards Tom who makes great pens and NAMES THEM AFTER BIRDS. What are we supposed to do in the face of such an onslaught of temptation?

I would but he makes really nice pens and I don’t want him to not let me have them. I am hoarding them. Anyway I still hold you responsible for the order I literally just put in at cult pens. The cult aspect is no lie. I will grant you dispensation only because it was probably your money I was spending

I assume you’re familiar with the fountain pens feed on Bluesky? It’s thanks to that feed I’ve acquired two new fountain pens in the past year, despite also being left handed. They had ink advent calendars and… I think there will be at least one more new pen.
