I didn’t realize that you lack hummingbirds. Too bad. I have an interesting relationship with these beautiful jewels. As a ginger-haired lad, I have found that hummingbirds may think I’m a flower. More than once, I have heard the buzzing of what I thought was an insect approaching my ear only to realize that it was a hummingbird. Fortunately, they did not attempt to collect nectar from my ear.

Schiphol Airport makes hanging around almost bearable - as well as the clock (which I spent far too long watching) it has an actual ART GALLERY, with a rotating collection from the Rijksmuseum. And then of course it has waffles...
