Well the Rodney Graham piece certainly knocks Longplayer into a cocked hat, lengthwise. It’s been going 23 years so far, only another 977 to go. Still, well worth a visit to Trinity Buoy Wharf if you’re in the vicinity https://longplayer.org/about/
How brilliant! And I had no idea it existed. Artangel put on a brilliant exhibition about birds’ nests a few years ago. Will definitely go and check Longplayer out. Thanks!
Schiphol Airport makes hanging around almost bearable - as well as the clock (which I spent far too long watching) it has an actual ART GALLERY, with a rotating collection from the Rijksmuseum. And then of course it has waffles...
Oooh. I’ve got to go see that clock! It’s fabulous.
Thanks, Lev. Loved the Berlin Phil's Cage but surely Petrenko took it too fast?
Hi Lev. I too have a fascination and love of hummingbirds. I was lucky enough to see one while holidaying in Antigua last year and managed to capture it on video. Loved your article! https://open.substack.com/pub/rosygee/p/my-feathered-friend?r=faoyr&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post

Beat that, Heathrow.
The best time to start building a cathedral was 200 hundred years ago. The second best time is now.
