Same! I want to lick it, or at least touch it. Ive just been learning about the etymology of lich so was excited to see if Lichfield was related to the old meaning of that word (corpse, body) but apparently it probably isn't.
I know it's just a bit of fun and I should just enjoy it, but I can't help noticing that they play around with the y axes a bit - presumably to get a better fit.
That's what I'm not sure about. Google searches for snakebite is 10, 14, 17, 20 and 24 - so I'm intrigued as to the gap changing from 4 to 3 (and back again).
Of course, I would need to check whether they are possibly the correct distances, but that would be verging on fanatical.
Similarly, the customer satisfaction one goes 56, 60, 64. 69 and 73. Why 4 to 5 and back again!
David McGurk video was just beautiful.
That beautiful table. So gorgeous.
44.20 - how fun!
This week’s winner for me is the table and Wow. Hope it comes somewhere near Lancaster. Thanks as always Lev.
Thankyou, I liked reading about all these six things very much X
Thank you!
41.1 on the colour match - that's strangely satisfying
44.88 after multiple attempts (the lowest of which was 33 something).
The table is ridiculously beautiful, and the spurious correlations charts look a lot like how my magical thinking works.
The table has me wanting to visit Lichfield.

Yes, I'm a wow at parties. Why do you ask?
I see what you mean, but each y axis is consistent to itself, as it were.

I'd make a great conspiracy theorist.
And I still think they're great fun.
oh no…
The colour matching game was strangely compulsive! 43.10 on my first go — I can see me adding it to my puzzle list.
Lev mentioned a similar game called Hued, and it's one I've saved to my list, too. Playhued.com if you're interested.
